Nabholz Implements Meridian's Prolog for Construction Quality Management
Nationally recognized builder standardizes on Prolog project management software
FOLSOM, Calif. (January 29, 2004) — Meridian Project Systems® (Meridian), a leading provider of project management software and ASP solutions, announces that Nabholz Construction Corporation, ranked sixth in telecommunication construction by ENR magazine, has adopted the Prolog® Application Suite to standardize company operations and uphold Nabholz's reputation for building quality.
Nabholz has a strong record in a wide range of commercial, industrial, healthcare and institutional building programs. Approximately 60% of their projects are based upon repeat clients and long-term partnering relationships. Nabholz has received Quality Achievement Awards from the states of Arkansas and Oklahoma, and designation as an Associated Builders and Contractors National Quality Contractor.
"Our founder, Bob Nabholz, fostered a tradition of continuous improvement, teamwork and meeting the special needs of our clients," said Don Greenland, chief operating officer for Nabholz. "Meridian's stability as a corporation and innovative solutions support our objectives for superior building quality and customer service. Implementing Prolog and aligning ourselves with Meridian's technology vision and the services of A+ Integrated Solutions insure that Nabholz maintains competitiveness and continues to bring quality building solutions to our customers."
Prolog provides complete project control by managing all aspects of the construction lifecycle, from project design to close out. Prolog WebSite complements Prolog Manager as a web-based collaboration application designed for the extended project team, ensuring all participants, including the project owner, architect, construction manager, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, are well-coordinated throughout the construction process.
A+ Integrated Solutions (A+IS), Meridian Premier Solution Provider, secured this multiple-year contract including software, implementation, training and integration services. Following their successful implementation of Prolog, Nabholz has begun work with A+IS to integrate Prolog with Nabholz’s accounting system. Using an Meridian Authorized Databridge (created by Event 1 Software), Nabholz will connect Prolog's project control functions with the accounting capability of Timberline software to reduce data entry and more centrally control company processes.
"Ultimately, it's important to the efficiency of our business and the superiority of our buildings to have all of our team members, divisions and outside stakeholders communicating and working with consistent project and program information," continued Greenland. "Prolog's robust capabilities and its integration to our accounting system allow for the kind of seamless collaboration that results in quality production and satisfied, repeat customers."
