Meridian Project Systems Hosts Third Annual Channel Partner Conference
Meridian will host conference in May to support and educate its 40+ channel partners from all over the world
(April 19, 2002) Folsom, Calif. - Meridian Project Systems (Meridian), a leading software and application service provider of project management solutions, will host its third international conference for its channel partner program on May 16-17, 2002, at its corporate headquarters in Folsom, Calif. Meridian' channel is comprised of more than 40 distinguished resellers who support Meridian products in sales and consulting efforts. Currently, the channel includes partners from 15 countries, spanning five continents.
"We hold our channel partners to the highest standards," said Elizabeth Dodson, Meridian channel development manager. "This conference is one way we support the channel to not only ensure that they have the latest information and training, but also that the ties between them and our corporate office remain very close.
"The channel at Meridian has changed substantially over the past few years. Brien Harvey, channel sales manager at Meridian, explained that the company recently re-evaluated its focus on the channel. "Over the past two years, we significantly expanded our channel presence. This year, we're focusing on fine-tuning that presence."
A significant portion of this year's channel partner conference agenda is dedicated to training. "We're releasing new products and technology platforms to our core product line," Dodson said, "More than ever before, we need to educate the channel on our recently released capabilities and the IT infrastructure needed to support these state-of-the-art products."Meridian expects a high turn out at this year's channel partner conference.
