GigaPlan, award-winning leader in web-based planning and resource management applications, expands Meridian' current product line and customer base
FOLSOM, Calif. - November 12, 2001 - Meridian Project
Systems (Meridian), leading software and application service provider for comprehensive
project management applications, announced today it has acquired GigaPlan,
Inc., premier developer of collaborative, web-based project planning,
cost and resource management software designed to assist distributed teams
in defining and meeting their project goals.

to develop powerful, web-native project management software and services
that provide real-time updating and universal access to current project

Customers of GigaPlan's technology include Duke Engineering, Radian Communication
Services Corporation (formerly The LeBlanc Group), and MapInfo. Novato,
California-based GigaPlan, with offices in Oslo, Norway, and St. Petersburg,
Russia, will be incorporated into Meridian' operations with GigaPlan's workforce
converting to Meridian staff.
