Prolog Case Study:  Winter Park Construction

Winter Park Construction uses Prolog software to improve employee performance, boost sales and protect profit

For Winter Park Construction (WPC), a reputation for performance and excellence is everything.  Part of the prevailing culture of quality is brand conformity for all documents that leave the office.  The use of Microsoft products for project management made it difficult to produce documentation that met the WPC standard for quality and consistency. In addition, the company’s proprietary document control system utilized multiple databases that required many levels of file saving. To make matters worse, spreadsheet-based financial reporting scattered estimates, budget reports and buyout logs. Click here to download the complete case study.

Forecasting Your Way to Efficiency

By Constructech Magazine, January 15, 2007

Heading into 2007 contractors are focusing their efforts on becoming even more efficient in the office and on the jobsite. If the past 10 years in construction have proven anything it is that it takes time for technology to be embraced on the jobsite. Call it reluctance to adopt on the side of users, or call it a lack of functionality on the side of the solutions, no matter how you look at it, technology needs to continue to earn its way into the tool belt of today’s contractor.
