Prolog delivers in-depth project management features across projects and programs in the areas of collaboration, purchasing management, cost control, document management and field administration. Prolog 7.5 incorporates several new enhancements that are based on feedback provided by owners, real estate developers, program managers, construction managers, contractors, engineers, architects and facility operators. Version 7.5 improvements include the ability to update multiple records at one time, log all field-level changes, and track incoming and outgoing email.

Track Important Project Emails
Email has become an essential method of communication across project teams, resulting in an environment where important project-related emails are created and stored across the individual inboxes of project participants. Additionally, as personnel changes occur, important project data can be lost altogether in abandoned email accounts.
The ability of Prolog 7.5 to create a dedicated project email account now allows important emails to become part of the permanent project record. Team members can forward their important project-related emails, along with any attachments, to that account.
Like all other information within Prolog, access to emails can be easily managed and controlled using Prolog’s powerful Security Manager. Team members can search, find and use email information in reports, queries, and building issues, just like any other project information in Prolog. This new email tracking functionality, allows Prolog users to:
- Avoid and refute litigation with accurate detailed documentation.
- Prevent lost information by keeping important emails in a central project database.
- Establish a project communication history and immutable audit trails with optional email logs.
Prolog 7.5 also brings improved support for various email protocols, including SMTP and MAPI. Because Prolog can work with most email systems, configuring messaging in Prolog is easier and more adaptable to the number of email products available today.
Easily Configure Field Attributes
With several project teams within an organization, enforcing the collection of consistent data can be difficult. A major Prolog strength has always been the ability to easily customize field labels to reflect unique company or industry business terminology. In addition to the ability to change and update field nomenclature, Prolog 7.5 users can now easily configure a number of other field attributes that ensure project data standards.
- Designate those fields that require input by users.
- Pre-set the default value for any field.
- Pre-set acceptable data ranges and minimum/maximum number of characters.
Prolog 7.5 also brings significant improvements in audit ability and traceability regarding changes to project information. A corporate administrator can designate fields that will log date and user-information for each change made to a record, creating a chronological audit trail. You’ll always know who changed what, and when they changed it.
Efficiently Modify Project Data
Prolog 7.5 raises the bar on user productivity by providing an efficient way to modify data. With the introduction of ‘Quick Edit’, users can now modify multiple records at once while still observing all the security and business rules of the system. This productivity enhancement enables users to spend more time managing the project and less time managing project data.
