Meridian Launches New Corporate Brand to Promote

FOLSOM, Calif. (September 29, 2004) — Meridian Systems®, an enterprise solution provider for optimizing the "plan, build and operate" phases of real estate, construction and other infrastructure programs, today launched a new corporate website and corporate logo. This new branding campaign promotes Meridian's expanded product and customer strategies. In addition to this initiative, the company streamlined its corporate name to Meridian Systems to better reflect its expanded product line and broad client base.
Over the last 11 years, Meridian has established market leadership within the AEC space with its flagship product Prolog® , which continues to provide industry-leading project management capabilities for mid-market to large customers managing real estate and construction programs. Due to the success of the Prolog Application Suite, Meridian has obtained market share leadership according to Constructech magazine and CFMA technology studies, and has repeatedly been named a Constructech Hottest Technology company.
In 2003, Meridian expanded beyond its traditional project management roots to introduce Proliance® — designed for global enterprises requiring project and portfolio management (PPM) and business process management. Proliance continues its PPM focus with this month's release of version 2.1 that includes a Field Management module. A new Facilities Management application suite will be released in the first half of 2005.
With this expanded solution set, Meridian is pursuing the Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (ILM) market, which provides for the continuous management of the " plan, build and operate" processes for market segments dependent on physical infrastructure programs to deliver their core business to customers. ILM takes a lifecycle management approach to a project and supports collaboration across the entire project ecosystem, encompassing the owner/operator, general contractor, architect/engineer and subcontractor community.
